What Are the 4 Most Common Eye Diseases?

  • Diabetic Retinopathy

    If you have diabetes, you should be aware of the risk of diabetic retinopathy. Elevated blood sugar can cause blood vessels in the eye to become inflamed or swell. In the early stages, you may not notice symptoms, but advanced diabetic retinopathy can cause blurred vision or eye inflammation.

    Diabetic retinopathy treatment includes:

I had never seen Dr. Mondo, but when the pandemic shut everything down (including my regular doctor)... and my vision suddenly went blurry...his office got me right in to be seen. His entire staff, Dr. Mondo included, was professional, friendly and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I'm definitely going back when it's time for my annual eye exam. Could not recommend enough!
